Blizzard and Bearzard in Orsa

Today is a happy day in our Polar World – it hasn’t just been snowing – we’ve had a real blizzard and after that something we could call a real bearzard! Ewa and Wilbär are in seventh heaven, of course, now that there’s so much snow around.
After the breakfast it was time to explore the new, exciting world. What fun it is to roll around in that white, fluffy stuff! Even the pond was covered with thin ice and snow. Everything looks like a page in a fairy tale book.
What is this? The white stuff feels so soft under my paws … and the water in the pond looks very different today….
Ewa tried to do some ice skating but fell in the water because the ice isn’t thick enough yet. Never mind, she seemed to think ‘I’m a polar bear and love the ice’.
The icy background makes Ewa look more beautiful than ever!
The bears were having bundles of fun seeking and finding their toys under the snow. Snow also gives a new, thrilling dimension to wrestling don’t you agree?
Ewa is admiring the Polar World in winter dress.
Wilbär looks happy rolling in the snow. Jippiii! It’s winter!!
I wish I could read Wilbär’s mind but my guess is he’s thinking: ‘What lucky bears Ewa and I are here in our winter wonderland’!

If I haven’t pinched myself yet, I would say that Ewa and Wilbaer are living in a fairy tale, yet I know their story to be real. How fun that they get to experience winter for the first time in such lovely surroundings! Always a pleasure to hear news from Orsa Gronklitt, beautiful photos.

Oh yes, these two youngsters must have their time of the year now: rolling in the snow and having ice-skating fun. I am so glad that you wanted to share these pics with us, because they do bring a lot of pleasure and happiness to all those who loved not only Wilbar but also Ewa. And knowing that the favorties had to move to a place far away, is always a bit scary. But when one then gets updated information and pictures on how both are doing fine and having fun, is a treasure and also a balm for the heart. Many thanks again and please continue to bring such news.
