Wilbär had a wonderful birthday

Our dear Wilbär had a wonderful birthday with lots of visitors and of course, a cake and a beautifully wrapped present. There was a little mishap with the present – before giving it to Wilbär Ewa ‘accidentaly’ ate the cola flavoured strings… . She is a lady with a healthy appetite – to put it mildly – not only did she eat her own cake but also most of Wilbär’s! Well, Wilbär was happy anyway for all the attention on his special day.

Orsa is truly a paradise for every polar bear – and on every pic it is obvious how much the bears love their home, and how much the keepers love their bears!

that’s what I would call a birthday party! Feasting so much that the birthday child is flat on the ground at last! *grin* .
But Wilbär is used to that. Last year celebration went all day long that in late afternoon Corinna and Wilbär didn’t want to come outside anymore.

I already loved the photos of Ewa’s birthday party, and I love these ones too. What a wonderful day Wilbär had and the waz of wrapping the gifts and boxes , not to forget the wonderful cake…I agree with Christina, each photo shows how dedicated the staff on Orsa is and how much thez love the bears. Thank you so much for sharing, Pernilla and Anders, and thanks to Mervi for giving us th opportunity here to feel still close to Wilbär who by the way nearly got a little sister. Unfortunately she didn’t survive…

Ohhh, I cannot believe how pampered Wilbaer and Ewa are, Ewa exhibiting a bit of gentrified rivalry as regards who gets the greater share of cake!
It’s nice to see that both bears partied until Wilbaer wore himself out!
The photos and vignette are absolutely adorable. We love to hear about how what we consider ‘our bears’ are doing.
