Dear friends! As I have often told you Knut was my source of inspiration - no matter if I wanted to write something or make a collage. He simply told me what to do and how to do it! I always found such a great pleasure in describing things with his words. Because I couldn't make myself to write a new story about midsummer this year I thought maybe you would like to read the story from 2008 again.

Dear friends! We have suffered terrible losses during the last few months and sometimes we get overwhelmed by sadness and sorrow. However, we have also proof that miracles still do happen. Just think of our dear, sweet Lumikki. When I feel down I take a look of a photo of our sleeping beauty or watch the video where she plays happily with her white teddybear - and I can assure you, it always makes me feel better.
We can't get the old days back but we can treasure the beautiful memories in our hearts. The best way to honour and cherish the memory of our angel friends is never give up. If we do - who will then carry out the message and inheritance they left us?
We have the most beautiful fluffy guardian angel to watch over us and I'm sure the little ice princess was sent to remind us that the time of miracles is not over!

Dear friends! Time goes by even if we sometimes want to stop it. We are cherishing our lovely memories of the sweetest bear boy ever but we are also looking forward. The beautiful baby bear in Alaska has already stolen our hearts and I will dedicate this thread to our 'Lumikki'. Let's pray she will have a long and happy life in a cosy zoo!

Dear friends! The healing process is going on to mend our wounded hearts. Although it will take a long time I think we have all seen the sun coming through the dark clouds. While walking on the memory lane we find ourselves smiling when we remember our ball artist, gardener, croissant lover .... and who could ever forget the scenes when the lettuce was returned to the sender?
We have also witnessed a miracle in Alaska when the little polar bear girl was rescued in an oil field. I may be naive but I believe this is a very important sign for us! .... and if I'm not very much misstaken we have all already reserved a place in our hearts for the new member in our big bear family.
There's no new story this week but I'm sure you'll enjoy all the photos and memories in KWM!

Dear Friends, as you all remember our Knuti was a keen gardener. He really made his little enclosure much greener by moving the plants from one place to another. I'm sure he's very busy working in his heavenly garden now.

I was afraid to come back here but when I opened the door I heard the sound of wings. When I closed my eyes I saw a fluffy little guardian angel who whispered:' Please, don't cry for me. I'm having a good time with my beloved Daddy. We are now living in a wonderful place beyond pain and sorrow. We're happy together. I promise to visit you every now and then'

Dear Friends! isn't it strange that this time of the year I always feel kind of restless. I don't know why but I've been trying very hard to find out! Maybe I need some romance in my life?? A bear can always dream..... Maybe I'll be having a candle light dinner with the queen of my heart very soon. I know Flocke is already spoken for but I've heard there are other lovely bear girls.....
