Hi Mervi,
Gianna had been outside for the past three days. After most of us had gone home today, there was the big surprise: Knut came out and not as expected Gianna again.
Knut very carefully and slowly insprected everything on his enclosure. Then he slowly glid into the water. After a while he came out and found the three day old food from Gianna in the small pool. He very happily ate it up and the proceeded to change the color of his fur into a deep dark black. Obviously he felt good.

Guten Abend an alle Knut&Giovanna Freunde weltweit am Freitag Abend.
Zunächst wieder der Dank für die vielen aktuellen Fotos vom heutigen Tag. Die Fotografinnen und Fotografen waren sehr sehr fleißig um uns mit Fotos von Giovanna zu versorgen.
Und dann noch die Nachricht, das Knut doch auf *seiner* Anlage war, cool. Aktueller gehts nicht.
Das ist aber nun ein ganz interessanter Geruch für ihn...

Tututututut Doris, the day you married Jessie, you promised to share a life in good and in worse. And so, you will have to accept that today was a "worse" one. Totally unacceptable to make him now move to the moon or so.

Good grief, Patricia! It seems I cannot win at all any more. First everybody wants Knut's beard to remain. Now there are protests because I wanted to do something horrible to Jessie (still had not figured a way or what to do) and now you come and remind me of the vows I took 45 years ago (that is soooooooooooo long ago).
Jessie is sitting here laughing after I read it to him. He thanks all of you - and I give up!
I'll let him live!

Maja hat heute Abend Bilder gemacht und sie mir geschickt. So sah unser Schlingel also aus. Ich glaube, dass sich die Frage nicht mehr stellt, ob es wirklich unser Knut war. Seht selbst

Der war gut, Doris!  Aber ob es Eisbärschlümpfe gibt?
Was die Fotos von Maja angeht, es ist nicht zu bestreiten, wer darauf zu sehen ist. Bin gespannt, wie er sich mit Gianna vertragen wird. Dann brauchen wir notfalls alles Spielzeug doppelt, bevor sich drum gekloppt wird.

Das letzte Foto von Gianna ist schön Gisela und ich bin voll Deiner Meinung. Der Name Giovanna ist wunderschöne und Gianna ist doch eine liebevolle Abkürzung, also so viel Zeit muss sein.

Uli, da sind wir einer Meinung. So viel Zeit muß sein, und Knutilde erinnert an Klothilde. Einen Namen, den ich grauenvoll finde!

Hallo ihr Zwei,
macht doch nicht so einen Heckmeck um das Namenskürzel. Auf einer Armaniflasche steht ja auch nciht Giorgio Armani, sondern z.B. Aqua di Gio. So sehe ich das. Nicht böswillig, sondern liebevoll abgekürzt. Aber wenn Ihr meint, dann bleiben wir bei Gianna.
